We are expanding globally and are now looking for a Legal Counsel to our Stockholm office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Legal Counsel you will be part of the Legal team supporting business heads and their functional teams as well as global functions. The role is focused on our European markets, but you will also provide legal advice in markets where we do not have dedicated legal counsel, and/or engaging external local legal counsel, ensuring that the obtained advice is suitable for Daniel Wellington.

The team currently consists of four people. You will report to our Head of Legal Europe.

WHAT YOU KNOW

You have good legal knowledge and a genuine interest in the business side and commercial matters. Work will include: 

  • Commercial leases (retail space mainly)
  • Agreements with e-commerce market places 
  • Digital and social media marketing agreements 
  • Distribution and franchise agreements
  • IT agreements 
  • Employment agreements, consultancy agreements and other employment related matters
  • Personal data protection matters 
  • Compliance (product safety and consumer legislation)

WHO YOU ARE

  • No less than 2-3 years’ experience of qualified legal commercial work including work at a reputable commercial law firm
  • Analytical problem solver who has the capability to think through complex issues and find solutions
  • Straightforward and an excellent team player
  • Ability to work and manage projects independently
  • Some experience from the retail segment is ideal, but experience from other consumer product or service segments are sufficient
  • Fluent in Swedish and English. Additional language is a bonus.
