In a fast moving and ever changing environment your mission will be to help us to set the strategy for Daniel Wellington on the European market.  One of your most important stakeholders will be the organization's General Managers (GM) and you will be improving and growing its assigned markets together with them. The role acts as a liaison between internal departments and the local General Managers in order to facilitate organizational changes and to swiftly implement those locally. In addition, you will be a vital part of the success on each market by continuously seeking improvement opportunities when providing the GMs with the best possible conditions to reach their targets. 

The Business Developer knows each and every aspect of the business within the assigned markets and closely works with the e-commerce and offline channels in an omni-channel context to keep track of specific shifts which need to be taken into consideration locally.

You may work to improve profitability, strategic planning together with the Executive Director Europe or conduct projects to enhance the operation of the business both from a financial and operative point of view. You will continuously seek new growth opportunities and challenge the status quo. This role reports to the Business Development Manager Europe and works closely with the Executive Director Europe.


  • Degree in business administration, finance, economics or comparable
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience within consulting or finance and/or a strategic position within an international retail firm
  • Proven experience with both qualitative and quantitative state of the art research, building business cases and strategic planning
  • Proven track-record in project management 
  • Strong business acumen with a commercial and creative mind-set
  • Ability to form business strategies combining both raw and unstructured data as well as soft values
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is appreciated
  • Result oriented, independent, entrepreneurial and self-motivated 
  • Team player because you win and lose together
