We are growing rapidly and are now searching for someone that would like to grow together with us as a Global Marketing Analyst to further strengthen our focus on data-driven decision making across the organization.

YOUR CHALLENGE

As our Global Marketing Analyst, your daily job is about understanding our market dynamics and competitive landscape better than anyone else, but also to embed data-driven decision making in all marketing processes and projects. With your analytical mindset you will contribute to different types of projects within the department, ranging from internal innovation initiatives, business development efforts, campaigns, special activations to tech projects. 

Being a part of the Global Strategy team this key role will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and work collaboratively with stakeholders in different functions and offices across the globe. Business travel may occur.

Requirements of this position are shaped by different opportunities arising every day and changing demands of the fast-moving industry we operate in. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Track sales performance of our markets and outcome of campaigns on a daily basis
  • Find patterns of growth or stagnation and support strategic marketing decisions with data
  • Translate insight into clear recommendations for the management, such as action plans for markets in different maturity stages
  • Proactively analyze trends, the competitive landscape and market disruptions in the context of how the department can leverage new opportunities to enable sustainable growth
  • Use internal and external data sources to inform decisions and prioritization of initiatives
  • Accompany the global campaigns process from offer setting, targets/forecasts, data mining and analysis to communication of results
  • Monitor and report on the progress of marketing activities and related projects to the CMO and other stakeholders
  • Foster an insights-driven culture by creating structures for experimentation, testing and reporting across the marketing organization, and enable other teams to measure e.g. campaign success with relevant KPIs and metrics

WHO YOU ARE

You are a proactive and result-oriented person with an entrepreneurial mindset who loves to play with large data sets to arrive at new, actionable insights. You should also have a growth mindset with good understanding of retail, e-commerce and social media. A part from that you are a great communicator (in English) both verbal and written, a true team player that supports all team members with the relevant data insights for their projects.

We also see that you have the following:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Economics / Finance / Statistics or comparable
  • Minimum 2-4 years of practical experience in business intelligence, developing insights in an E-commerce and/or retail setting or investment banking
  • Experience with analytical and quantitative problem solving
  • Experience with analysis tools, open source or commercially available libraries and toolsets
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics and Magento preferred, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
