We established our business in Germany in 2016. Since then we have built a solid organisation and thriving business in the country. So far, we have opened 12 Daniel Wellington stores and more than 1000 other point of sales across Germany and Austria and we have secured a strong online presence. The team is made up of 85 passionate talents today and continues to grow. As our GM is moving on to a new challenge within the company this opens up for one of the best and most interesting retail roles in Europe.


In the position of General Manager, you will be responsible for the total business of Daniel Wellington in Germany and Austria. A strong foundation for success is in place, your objective will be to grow the business for long term, in a modern and business smart way. To do that your focus will be to develop our retail, online and offline, and wholesale business. On an everyday basis, you will guide and support your team to create a world-class experience for our customers, develop the market to its full potential and maximize results.

As the General Manager, it is important to display inspiring leadership. We’re looking for someone who can continue building the organisation with a progressive view of people, business and the future of retail. You will need to work with the local culture and link it with our Daniel Wellington culture - our core values and our love for people.


The right candidate knows exactly what it means to drive an entire business as a General Manager in such a retail business. You have a huge level of energy and passion as this job will demand 100% of it every day. You have proven extensive and relevant experience working in a multinational work environment in which you have built a strong understanding of what is required to successfully grow and manage omni-channel retail in 2019 and beyond. Except from your winning personality, your strategic and analytic skills have been a big factor in your career progression so far.

You will report to our Executive Director for Europe based in Stockholm. In this position you get to work in a fast-paced and rapid-growing environment where you will be a part of creating something unique. We want you to come in and take ownership to make Daniel Wellington one of the biggest brands in Germany and Austria.
