As Consumer Product Compliance Manager at Daniel Wellington you will help to set up and manage our consumer product compliance requirements and be responsible for ensuring company compliance as relates to regulatory requirements. It is a global role, and you will work closely together with multiple teams at DW, such as production, design, sustainability and legal. Some travelling will be required from time to time.  

You will be based in Stockholm and report into the Legal team with dotted line reporting into Head of Sustainability.


We are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of and interest in consumer product compliance management. Work will include:

  • Ensure company compliance regarding EU, US and other global, regional or national regulations (e.g. EU RoHS, REACH, WEEE, China RoHS, GPS and CA Prop 65).
  • Generate and maintain DW’s global quality management system to capture information to be collected and used to ensure product compliance status to standards. 
  • Create and/or maintain Technical Files for DW products.
  • Set up procedures, policies, routines, supplier requirements and restrictions for production to secure product safety and legal compliance.
  • Define methods, requirements, instructions and procedures for chemical compliance testing, including organizing third party testing, such as SGS reports, to verify the compliance of products to requirements.
  • Interpret regulatory rules, guidelines, standards from time to time and ensure that they are communicated through policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a good understanding of existing and emerging legislation, regulations, standards or guidance documents that affect DW products and raw materials. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in science, engineering or another relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience from similar consumer product regulatory position at a consumer product company or from a reputable consultancy company. 
  • Excellent knowledge of European product regulatory framework is a must (e.g. REACH, RoHs, WEEE), and experience of non-EU regulatory frameworks is a merit (e.g. CA Prop 65, Conflict Minerals).
  • Experience from the watch and/or jewelry business segments is a merit.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and ability to own and run processes.
  • High level command of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent in English.
