The growth of Daniel Wellington is large and the speed of change is high. The company is expanding rapidly and the need for further development, higher efficiency and smarter solutions is growing. Therefore, we’re now looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst to help us engage the world! 


As a Market Intelligence Analyst you will be part of Operations and report to our Supply Chain Development Manager. You will work towards different stakeholders within Design and Operations where you will be responsible for the whole analysis, from beginning to end. You will play an important key role and supporting a variety of growth initiatives for example new products by applying a thoughtful and strategic approach to finding and analyzing data. You will perform research, data synthesis, and competitive and market analysis to support the identification and pursuit of current and new business opportunities as well as long-term strategic planning. 

Your main tasks will be: 

  •  Extract and aggregate data to provide insights on products, market sizes, trends, prices etc.
  • Combine external data with internal information to identify business opportunities. 
  •  Perform competitor analysis and monitor competitor activity. 
  • Document analysis and insights in a pedagogical and easily accessible way. 
  • Provide written briefings and perform presentations of findings, what-if scenarios and risk analysis. 
  • Plan, execute and manage unbiased interviews, focus groups and surveys globally. 


You have a strong reporting/analytics background and a passion for data as well as demonstrated ability to draw insights from complex analyses and ability to communicate them in an understandable manner. You’ll be given plenty of responsibility from day one and with excellent self-leadership skills you demonstrate a “can-do” and “nothing is impossible” attitude. You are a highly motivated, driven and detail-oriented person, willing to make a difference. 

We also see that you have: 

  • BSc or MSc degree in Mathematics/Engineering/Economics/Marketing or other relevant field. 
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of market intelligence in a global organization. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is important for this job as your colleagues are spread across the world. 
  • Excellent knowledge of data mining in Excel, SQL, Tableau or similar.
