We’re now looking for an ambitious and innovative person with an excellent eye for details to join as Global Visual Manager. Together with DW's Retail Heart you will create and implement a visual merchandise strategy for DW on a global scale with the purpose of building the brand and driving sales.

With offices in Hong Kong, Stockholm and Dubai we are open to various locations for this position. 

YOUR CHALLENGE

As a Global Visual Manager, you’ll have the overall responsibility for aligning all markets by developing, implementing a visual merchandising strategy and structure on a global level. Your most important stakeholders will be the Visual Merchandisers in our strongholds across the world; with whom you will both secure the implementation and the development of our store’s visuals. On top of that, you will also be a voice for the visual in the development of a commercial calendar. You will be main responsible to train and develop the people inside the visual organisation of DW, with the aim to support how we can gain traction and maximise sales in our stores.

The Global Visual Manager will be an important missing piece of the puzzle in DW’s Retail Heart. You will be reporting to our Head of Global Retail Operations Manager who’ll also be one of your most important stakeholders together with our Chief Brand Officer.  

We see that you will:

  • Set and implement a global visual merchandise strategy for both windows and in store visual.
  • Be overall responsible for Visual Merchandising in the work of developing the Commercial Calendar both on a global and local level
  • Make sure we have the right product at the right place at the right time by developing store planograms
  • Secure all stores have the appropriate number of stock in store
  • Lead, guide and develop the team of Stronghold Visuals
  • Inspire and develop people to their full potential
  • Make sure Brand Guidelines are followed for all Visuals created.

WHAT YOU KNOW

  • How to be structured and prioritise in your work – every day
  • Fluent English both verbal and written. Other language skills are a plus
  • How to lead teams and engage your peers
  • Extensive knowledge of the retail consumer market globally
  • Inspire and develop people to their full potential

  • Proven record in relevant experience of a similar position

  • The ability to travel for work when needed
  • Close to laughter – you know how to have fun
