Daniel Wellington is a Swedish company with offices located all around the world. We are a truly global brand who have sold to almost every country worldwide. We have since our inception in 2011 challenged the watch industry by going our own way and we are always looking for brilliant people that want to grow together with us. We give you the possibility to influence, take ownership, and be a part of a journey that only just begun.

If you would like to contribute to our global movement, here is how you can help us to engage the world:

One of our key factors to success is to work as a data driven organisation. We strive for continuous development in this area and now there’s an opportunity to be a part of our Business Intelligence team in Stockholm as a Business Intelligence Developer. Do you want to be part of a vibrant and international environment with stakeholders from all over the world? This could be your time to shine!

As a BI Developer you need to love data and together with the BI team, you will get the opportunity to work globally, shaping how Daniel Wellington delivers analytics to everyone in our organisation, enabling us to take decisions based on trusted content you will build.

To do this we’ll expect you to:

  • Design and build reports using modern visualisation techniques
  • Understand how users should interact with data, not how it could look in Excel
  • Champion user adoption and build reports that puts the power and insights into users’ hands
  • Demonstrate an appetite to master our Tableau toolset, staying up to date with market trends and beta releases
  • Contribute to building a self-service first strategy
  • Wrangle with data in SQL
  • Build your brand and make the most of promoting great work both internally and externally

You will work alongside our data engineers to develop our data warehouse reporting layer which acts as Daniel Wellingtons source or truth for all measures and KPIs.

You will be expected to work cross functionally and support other departmental analysts in Marketing, Logistics and Business Controlling to ensure our data strategy aligns across multiple business processes.

You will be supported by your loyal team and manager in all these endeavours.

  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience using modern reporting tools, ideally Tableau but we’re not precious, you will need to demonstrate how much proficiency you have and how your skills have made a difference in previous roles
  • You must know how to drive the end user and elicit requirements, doing what we’ve always done isn’t the way we work
  • You’re a driven, passionate self-starter that enjoys taking the initiative to find solutions to obvious and hidden problems without being asked
  • You’re not afraid to speak up and suggest new ways of working, questioning what already exists and have a critical eye for detail
  • You speak English proficiently

Are we ticking your boxes?

We take pride in building everything in-house, are all about constant learning and with that finding our own way of doing business.

You will spend your days in collaborative and dynamic offices with a highly skilled team, do great work, and have fun while doing so.
