Paid Media Video Editor

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join Daniel Wellington. Specifically focused on digital media advertising and paid media content. You will be an added member of our video content creation team coordinating all paid video content together with them, working alongside Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Social Media Specialists.

What you'll be up to:

  • Edit a high volume of original in-house videos, and create various versions of edits, optimized for different platforms that align with the Daniel Wellington style guide 
  • Build video templates and graphic design work that adheres to Daniel Wellington style guidelines 
  • Work closely with our social media team and paid ads team to help guide concept ideation, production, and editing 
  • Assist in planning, shooting and editing content to be used in paid advertising across digital media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) 
  • Innovate new ways to repurpose and improve existing creative bank

Required skills & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role 
  • Successful track record of producing and editing content for performance marketing ads on digital media channels 
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work 
  • In addition to being a great editor, you must be an all-around creative, with an eye for small details and a passion for big ideas 
  • Ability to overlay music, dialogues, graphics, and effects 
  • Highly creative, organized and able to work independently with little direction 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Great communication skills and a collaborative team player in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment 
  • Passionate about social media and short video products 
  • Understanding of today's media landscape and how people engage with advertising

Even better if:

  • Ability to shoot and produce content with a digital camera 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment 
  • Understanding of creative, design and marketing processes
