We are now looking for three experienced tech managers who are genuinely interested in making their teams and technology flourish.  

 

WHY 

Business Tech in Daniel Wellington counts 120 people in our Stockholm office plus another team of 60 colleagues in Shenzhen (a.k.a. APAC's Silicon Valley). We are very proud to say that we are building a majority of platforms ourselves, in house, and that 97% of them are built serverless. The last three years our focus has been on the expansion of the organization and on delivering working software. Now, we see the need for more mature and stable Tech organization. We are looking for leaders who have experience from environments where you have been a part of setting modern structures, and who are driven by helping teams find new ways of working. The only thing we know for sure is that things will change, forever, especially in tech.  

 

WHAT 

Your role will be to provide context and vision to your team which will consist of about 20 people, who are divided into two development teams . You will help them succeed by coaching, recruiting, training and challenging them. You will make sure that the right methods, processes, and tools are in place so that they can focus on delivering what they are passionate about - well functioning and innovative software. You will be a role model when it comes to cross-team and cross-department collaboration.  

  

WHO 

You have been leading high performing teams for some years and can provide us with your teams' testimonials! We are curious to learn how people talk about you as a manager. Okay, checking testimonials will be the last stage in our recruitment process but we are impatient to get there! Before that, we want to learn about how you succeed in communicating clearly in ambiguous settings and about your ability to set goals and follow up on them. Your experience from building teams where everyone feels safe and motivated is also something that we would like to hear about. How you have made sure everyone in your past and your current team has developed professionally and as human beings, is also something that we are curious about.  


In this role, you will be reporting to our CIO and be a part of a freshly cooked management team consisting of 6, in other words, you will have a big impact on the continued shaping of Tech at DW.
