Do you see yourself working as a corporate Legal Counsel in the future? We are looking for an Intern to join our office in Stockholm. Are you passionate about commercial law and eager to learn what it is like to work with law in a commercial context in a global environment? The internship is aimed at students that have the intention to write their master thesis within any field of commercial law during the spring semester of 2020Please note that only students writing their Master thesis in law at a Swedish university will be considered for this role. 


As an Intern you will, during a period of 10 weeks, be part of our Corporate Commercial Legal team at the Stockholm office. Our team in Stockholm focuses on supporting global projects and DW’s businesses in Europe, IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) and Americas (US, Canada and South America) involving practices such as consumer protection law, competition law, employment law, intellectual property law (including marketing law), GDPR and other business-related legal issues.

The main tasks will involve drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, conducting legal research, liasing with our colleagues and business partners worldwide and assist with administrative work such as archiving agreements and record-keeping.


  • You are studying law (Sv. Juristprogrammet) and have completed all mandatory courses.
  • You are fluent in English and Swedish and have excellent communication skills in both languages, both written and verbal. Any additional languages are a bonus.
  • Experience from previous legal work, such as internship with a reputable law firm or employment with other employers of legal relevance is a bonus.
  • It is meritorious if you have studied advanced courses in business related legal areas, such as contract law, competition law or intellectual property law. 


  • You take responsibility, are thorough and have great analytical skills
  • You have a positive mindset towards any problems and challenges that you face
  • You are business-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced business environment
  • You are straight forward, prestigeless, eager to learn new things and an excellent team player as well as great at working independently in a structured manner

The internship will take place either the first or second half of the semester. Please let us know in your application which period would suit you the best. Please note that no remuneration will be paid for this internship.

Deadline: 3rd of January. We hope to have this internship filled by the end of January 2020.
