YOUR CHALLENGE

We are looking for a backend developer for the team that develops, tests and maintains our global sales web applications.

The services we build rely on a range of technologies such as Node.js and commerceTools in the backend. React, graphQL, fastly, Gatsby and contentful are technologies we use in the frontend. We are serverless and use AWS services such as CloudFormation, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch and S3 for cloud computing. Our solution range of integrations such as payment-, delivery- and tax integrations as well as 3pl and ERP integrations.

Our services are used from people all over the world, hence security, performance, and scalability are aspects we value deeply.

WE THINK THAT YOU:

• have proven experience in building commercial applications in Node.js/JavaScript OR other backend languages such as Java, C# or Python

• have experience in API and microservice design

• have a solid knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing

• know your way around databases

• write and test your code according to the best practices

• have experience owning quality assurance through the development cycle

• can facilitate technical discussions around design, processes and testing

• have strong skills communicating with technical colleagues and other stakeholders

• are forward leaning and that you take ownership and initiatives

• are a team player and that you appreciate and value collaborative work

WE ALSO VALUE THAT YOU:

• have experience working with E-Com and/or CMS driven web applications

• are comfortable in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
