One of our development teams, BEAM, is looking for their new Team Lead – someone who can guide and lead the team in their daily work but also take on some backend development. The team develops and maintains our integrations and API services. You will drive the agile development process within the team, and be someone the team can bounce ideas off on a daily basis. It’s important that you are interested in processes and people! This role does not include staffing responsibility.

Within the BEAM team we are 6 people working closely together, acting as a bridge between our internal and external systems. Our tech stack mainly consists of Node.js and Typescript. We build Rest APIs and integrations using serverless technologies hosted on AWS.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate and oversee day-to-day operation and ensuring internal team ceremonies are executed
  • Set, implement, and continuously improve way of working within the team
  • Optimise knowledge sharing within and across teams and strive for an innovative, forward-thinking culture
  • Work together with your manager in re-defining and realising a vision, strategy and plan for the area of responsibility
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure relevant input is provided for decision-making and planning
  • Actively contributing to the work in the team by developing on some of the features implemented by the team


  • Have knowledge of Node.js/Javascript development and patterns
  • Have prior experience in team leading or scrum mastering/agile coaching
  • Are able to facilitate technical discussions around design, processes and testing
  • Have a degree in computer science or similar field

It is considered a plus if you:

  • Have knowledge of AWS services
  • Understand continuous delivery, test automation and best practices for writing and testing your code
